The Genie Series: Designer Bags & Dirty Diapers

Well hello, friends! I've got a fun treat for you today. Here's a hint: she's beyond stylish, she's an adorable little blonde, she has one of the cutest kids around and she lives in my favorite city in the world. If you guessed Natalie from Designer Bags and Dirty Diapers, then ten points for you!

Natalie dropped by today to share her three "genie in a bottle wishes" with all of you! Take it away, N!

Hello blogger friends! I am Natalie from Designer Bags and Dirty Diapers and I could not be more excited that Michelle asked me to participate in her "genie series".  I mean we would all love to have three wishes, right??  Tough choice is narrowing it down to just three!!

ONE
First off I would like two vacation homes.  Not trying to be greedy by wanting two but I really want one in the Mountains and one in Caribbean.  That way I have the best of the beach and mountains.  I also need it to be big enough to bring lots of friends and family with me when I travel.  Because what fun is having a vacation home if you can't bring along all your favorite people to share it with?!  Oh and I also need a private jet to get us there so we can travel anytime we like.

TWO
I would like an unlimited fund for purses.  Think of it as a trust fund for gorgeous purses.  I love all designer purses but sadly they are so not in my budget right now!   Not to mention the hubby thinks it is crazy to spend that kind of money on handbag.  If I had a fund we would both be happy!

THREE
I would like a huge wine cellar filled to the brim with the most amazing wines I could ever taste.  Of course it would be unlimited so the wine would never run out!

Now here is to hoping that Genie answers my wishes soon!
Thanks for having me Michelle!
xoxo

The Genie Series: Danielle Oakey Interiors

Hi friends! I've got a great treat lined up for you today... a drop by from the incredibly talented Danielle from Danielle Oakey Interiors!

In case you haven't found her blog yet, here's a sneak peek at Danielle's beautiful home and amazing interior design skills.

Great, right? You can check out more of her house tour here. And while you're over on her blog, get excited to meet Danielle's cutie patootie daughter, Emory. She is so precious, she steals the show!

Today Danielle has stopped by to share three wishes as part of the Ten June Genie Series. Take it away!

***

Hi Ten June readers, I am Danielle from Danielle Oakey Interiors.
I am thrilled to be here today participating in Michelle's Genie series.
I am a BIG dreamer, so this is perfect for me. Only one problem, I might need more than 3 wishes!

For my first wish, I would LOVE a house.
I've tried my hardest to make my tiny condo work, but it just isn't the same.
A real kitchen, more than one bathroom, space to entertain, and a yard...sounds like a dream come true to me. Oh, and since we're dreaming here, not just any home will do. A custom home built by Tiek homes will be perfect. They build the most amazing homes with no details spared, drool worthy really.

For my second wish, I would like medical school to be over and our school loans gone!
My husband is in his third year of medical school, it is torture and SO expensive.
It would be amazing to have my hubby around once in a while...and him making some money wouldn't be too bad either!

My third wish would be an unlimited gift card to J.Crew Cuts.
I absolutely LOVE dressing up my daughter, and J.Crew Cuts always gets it right.
In fact, I am kinda obsessed with the clothes they have right now...

Thanks so much for having me Michelle!
It was fun to dream a little.
Now do I really have to go back to reality?

 ***

Thanks, Danielle! Hello, I think I need a custom Tiek home now. Insanely gorgeous!

One last reminder...  if you've got a fun Easter or spring inspired project that you'd like to share with Ten June readers, shoot me an email (please put "Easter Project!" in the subject line) with pictures and a description or a link to your post on the project by tonight at midnight, EST and I may feature it later this week!  tenjuneblog@gmail.com

The Genie Series: Hi Sugarplum

One of my most favoritest bloggers is stopping by Ten June today.... She can rock a DIY with the best of em' and throws out a mean "thats-what-she-said." Get excited for Cassie from Hi Sugarplum!

Hi all! I'm Cassie from Hi Sugarplum, and I'm thrilled to be dreaming big over here today! Obviously, if I really were to receive three wishes, I'd ask for my family's health, happiness, blah, blah, blah. But this is hypothetical, so I get to be completely selfish and shallow with my wish list.

First up, I'd like one of those fast burning metabolisms. I've heard of them, but never actually experienced one. Please Mr. Genie, let me eat whatever and however much I want, while maintaining a flat stomach, thighs that don't start forest fires, and an arse in the same zip code as the rest of me. Can you even imagine the joys of eating and eating and eating, and never paying the price?! Pass the Butterfingers, please!

Secondly, since I'm no longer required to worry about my figure, I'm going to have all kinds of time for projects. So instead of a wine cellar in my fabulously gigantic mansion, staffed with housekeepers, chefs and nannies, I'd like a paint cellar. It needs to be stocked with every possible hue, along with brand new Purdy brushes for each project (no wash and reuse for this girl). And it goes without saying that I'd have a dedicated work space. Organized perfectly. By someone else.

And finally, I'm not even going to settle for an unlimited travel pass. Psshh, commercial is for the common folk. I'd like a private jet, standing by to take me anywhere I want to go each day when I wake up. Because obviously I won't have to work! I'll need homes in Banff, Santorini, Paris, Bruges and St. John....you know, because everyone needs the option of mountains, city, quaint villages or the beach. Since I'm not greedy, I'll just stay at 5-star hotels when everywhere else.

Thanks, Michelle, for the chance to live in La La Land for a bit. Now it's back to work and painting in the corner of my overstuffed garage!

The Genie Series: Go Haus Go

Hi friends! Thanks so much for sharing your Christmas crafts yesterday over on Cassie's blog. I'm amazed at how many beautiful projects you guys have been working on! Don't forget that tomorrow, I'll be sharing a holiday vignette (any area in your home you've decorated and given a festive holiday theme) and linking up over on Courtney's blog. I hope you join us!

Today I've got the adorable Emily from Go Haus Go to join the Ten June Genie Series. She's got three wishes... what's she going to choose? Before I let Emily take it away, check out a few pictures of her amazing casa. She's got amazing style, right?!

Hi Ten June readers! The name's Emily and I run the DIY and design blog Go Haus Go. Let's get to the good stuff! If a genie granted me three wishes, here's what I'd say:

Emily Snuffer

[ONE ]

The ability to have white furniture, even with two dogs in the house.

White furniture and accessories are my favorite things to decorate with but the dogs make it impossible (dirty paws, hair, you name it) to do in my own home. I used to have many white things and I miss having white as a color choice so much. That probably explains why most of my walls in my house have recently been painted white. I'd want indestructible white decor so I could have my favorite rug, this lovely studio sofa, my favorite Eames chair and white pillows. Oh, and I guess I'd need a pay raise as well to be able to afford any of those things. :)

[TWO]

I want Blair and Chuck to end up together.

I root for them each season... heck, each episode. Yep, I'd give up one wish to reunite fictional lovers. My question is... who the heck is the father of her baby? Any Gossip Girl lovers out there?

[THREE]

I want to call a classic MCM house my home, specifically the Miller House.

The Miller House (pictured above) is a hop, skip and jump from where I grew up in Indiana. If not the Miller House, I'd settle for a classic ranch or tri-level. As long as the house represents a movement that left a mark on design history.

[SO THAT'S IT!]

Thanks so much Michelle for having me! Hope everyone had a great holiday. If you want to stop by to check out my non-white decor or even chat Gossip Girl (please!), you can find me at Go Haus Go.

The Genie Series: Cleverly Inspired

Thanks so much to everyone who linked up in the second week of the 30 Day Photo Challenge! All of your pictures are so inspiring. Today, I've got another blogger on board to share in the Ten June Genie Series. And don't forget to stop back here tomorrow for a fabulous giveaway! Here's a hint: if you win, you won't be looking too shabby....

So, Tracie, if a genie popped out of a bottle and granted you three wishes... what would they be?

Hmmmm... just three wishes huh?!?! This will be hard to narrow down!
So here are my wishes, in no particular order....

1. My first wish would be to travel to Italy. I am in love with the food, language, scenery... um wine... yes please. I would love to go and spend a month just touring with my hubby. It is something we both dream about and we can't wait to experience it together since neither of us have been there!

via

2. My second wish would be to put an oasis in our backyard. We would love a pool and and an outdoor kitchen... maybe even a small pool house that has a bathroom and lounge area. This would be so great for the kiddos and help us to make great use of a fairly nice size yard. It would be nice to build up a bit of privacy too.

3. Ok, my third wish is a bit unrealistic... but I would love it if Golden Retrievers would not shed. I love my Putter dog, but the hair I could do without. I LOVE these puppies and I would have four if I had the space. Their smiles and love is contagious- you cannot help but be happy when you are around them!

I hope you can stop by cleverlyinspired... see ya soon!

Thanks for stopping by, Tracie! I am WITH you on that last wish... wow, if Tucker and Maggie stopped shedding, I'm pretty sure I'd be a happy camper... and Swiffer would definitely go out of business.

Check out some of the other fabulous bloggers who have participated in the Genie Series:

viaviaviaviaviaviaviaviaviaviavia

wish no.1: unlimited travel {all expenses paid}.

my fiance and i love traveling and we have a few fun trips planned- Spain this September and TurkeyParis + Amsterdam next year. it would be a dream to travel anywhere in the world without worrying about hotel (or hostel!) costs, plane tickets, or paid work vacation days. if this wish was granted we would be off to indiacuba, brazil, argentina, greece, italy and thailand.

wish no.2:: the perfect city.
as much as i love living in chicago the city is not without it's flaws.

i would love to live in the perfect city... population over 500,000. great weather (no snow...60s-80's year round. walkable. bike-able. farmers markets year-round. fantastic public schools. lots of art, culture, and history. low crime & pollution rates. a distinguishable downtown area with tons of shopping, diverse restaurants and people, and interesting architecture. o and affordable cute single family housing!

does a place like this exist in the US?! if so...do tell! and move me there along with my family, friends and future frenchie pup.

wish no.3:: unlimited closet for my whole family.

that's right i want myself, my fiance and the future babies to be styling with a closet full of any clothes we want...swapping every season of course.

thanks to michelle for letting me share my wishes. if you'd like to see even more dreamy things stop by cornflake dreams anytime :)

The Genie Series: Hey Gorgeous

Today I've got a blog crasher in the form of the lovely, beautiful and oh-so-talented Rhiannon from Hey Gorgeous. Rhi blogs about her adventures as a wedding planner, including all of the amazing, gorgeous images that inspire her, fun DIY projects and a host of beautiful weddings she has worked on. Oh and Rhi and her husband are building their first home together... it just about makes me drool it's so exciting! If you haven't stopped by Hey Gorg before, head on over and say hi!

Hello everyone! I am so honoured to be here on Michelle's sweet blog, being a part of her Genies Series. For a while, I have been thinking what in the world would I ever pick if I was actually given three wishes in life and, although I am pretty indecisive, I have a good idea of a few things that would make me pretty happy! See them below and thanks so much Michelle for having me over today :) xoxo

{One} One free vacation of choice every year. Ever since my now husband and I first started dating, we've gone on tons of trips and it remains one of our favorite things to do together. From the Bahamas and Mexico, to Florida and Antigua, we have seen a lot of incredible places. However, we'd love to get some big trips under our belts that we've both been dreaming of, like Greece, Bora Bora and Africa. If we could have the option to take an all expenses paid trip of choice each year I think we would be two very happy campers!

 via

{Two} I'd love to feel a bit more comfortable in my skin. I'm a perfectionist by nature (could be my gymnastics background) but either way, I can be very critical of myself, my weight, my less than perfect skin, my lifeless hair, etc etc. I don't want to change me, but just learn to be happier in my skin, to feel more confident and to be content and happy with what I've got, like a friendly smile, strong arms and a nice bum :) Oh and if I could lose the five pounds I gained from all the fabulous food I ate this summer that would be nice too!

 via

{Three} I wish I could bring back my sweet Nan. She passed away two days before my 22nd birthday and missed out on so many things I wish she could have been here for, like my wedding day, my graduation from college, the day I started my business, the day we decided to build a house. Having her back is the one thing I always tell myself I would ask for if I could have just one wish or one freebie in life. So I think this rounds out my three wishes perfectly :)

Thanks again Michelle! It was fun dreaming for a day! xo

 ***
Thank YOU for stopping by, Rhi! And for the record, you are not only insanely gorgeous on the outside, but your talent and gigantic heart are only two of the reasons why you're beautiful on the inside too! So knock that number two wish out of the ballpark! : ) xo

The Genie Series: Schue Love

Guess who is stopping by Ten June today? My blogger turned real life friend, Natasha from Schue Love!! She's here to participate in the Genie Series. I was lucky enough to meet Natasha when I was out in California last month- she is the SWEETEST! Not to mention she's absolutely adorable and she's got some amazing style... so if you haven't stopped by Schue Love, you need to click on over!

my sister, Tori- me- Courtney- Natasha

Natasha- if a genie popped up and gave you three wishes... what would they be?

Hello to Ten June's sweet readers!  I am super excited to be here today...I mean, who wouldn't want the chance to dream up three wishes?!  Thanks to Michelle for letting me indulge, if only for today!  :)

My first wish would be to have unlimited spin and barre classes to take at my disposal.
Untitled
It sounds like a strange wish, but these are two of my favorite classes and we have few if any available here in Tahoe.  If I could have a class available every day, all day, I would be SUCH a happy lady!

My second wish would be to visit Monet's Garden.
Untitled
My mom went when I was little and brought my back the Linnea doll...and I've known that I've always wanted to visit myself one day.  It's one of the many places I want to go to {I've never been overseas!} but if I had a wish, I would go there!

My last wish would be to have a personal stylist/shopper!

Untitled

While living in Tahoe is gorgeous, the shopping is a little slim {to say the least!} so how fabulous would it be to have a stylist shop for me and send me all the most trendy clothes and accessories?  Maybe I should include...with unlimited budget?!  :)

Thanks for letting me dream today!  Now if only I could find one of those little Genies somewhere!!!

xo natasha

 Thanks for stopping by, Natasha!
