Dining Room Update with Song Lyric Art

We have a family anthem, is that weird? For our little family, Matt Redman's "10,000 Reasons" is our jam. Both kids know all the words, it's a song we sing as a lullaby to them every night and generally it's just a song that really inspires us and makes us happy. In my opinion, it's important to decorate your home with the things that inspire and bring happiness to your family. Once I realized how much of an impact this song has on our family, it was a no-brainer that these lyrics needed to be memorialized somewhere in our home. I reached out to the folks at House of Belonging and they created this custom sign for me. And. I'm. In. Love. Like, beyond. That rustic wooden frame makes me smile every time I see it. And it's so cool to me how this sweet sign just sits in the background of our family dinners, parties and special times. It's perfect.

  1. I love it ! And that song. We have a sign over our bed that says "god gave me you" and I hear the Dave Barnes version every time I see it. I also wrote "I surrender" on our chalk board so I could see it and think of the hillsong song during our home birth a few months back.

  3. This is beautiful art and I agree hand made and special items hung on your walls at home is what makes us happy :)

  4. Love this Michelle. We have the love is patient verse in our Master Bedroom. I love that one year our pastor told us to change Love to I...makes one think. I am thinking of having one made with the God Gave Me You for our Master Bath...as it is our song (my ringtone for hubby). I love art that has meaning for a family, and that is also inspiring.

  5. I just love it. LOVE it. The lyrics, that you sing it to HDawg & Little Lady June...such a great visual reminder. And I'm now wondering what our family anthem is....probably something by Lorde or Taylor Swift ha!! ;-)

  6. In love with this. Saw it on Pinterest again today. I LOVE this song. Although I can not get through it at church without crying. This is beautiful, my friend.
