My sweet, happy little man is three months old. Can you believe it? I know that everyone tells me not to wish away each stage of his life, and I certainly am not, but I can't help but love each phase more than the last! I definitely look forward to everything he's got in store for us down the road.
At three months old, my little H is the sweetest, happiest baby. He is genuinely relaxed, constantly laughing at the world around him (ie. his ridiculous momma) and is honestly the best little guy a mom could ask for. He also lets out a mean fart, which, let's be honest, is a true talent for any little boy.
Lately, he's discovered his hands and his tongue, meaning the tongue is always hanging out and the hands are constantly moving. In between talking to us with his "ah-goos," he also has started to try and mimic the noises we make to him, which is precious. I really should video that scene... me sounding like a motorboat, David like a pig and H cooing along with us. We're sort of a zoo crew : )
He still loves to watch the lights on his little gym and lay on his play mat. He's also a huge fan of reading books, which just makes my heart burst. His current favorite? Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. He giggles at all of the noises and stares with wide eyes at the brightly colored pages. Seriously precious.
I have no clue what he weighs right now, but I'm guessing my little chunk is somewhere between thirteen and fourteen pounds. The little guy had almost doubled his birth weight by his two month appointment, from 7 lbs. 3 oz. to 12 lbs. 6 oz! Also, his acid reflux has thankfully transitioned from upset baby tummy cries to simply a whole lot of spit up. We go through mannnnnny bibs each day around our house! But thank goodness his medication has neutralized the acid so he's no longer in pain. As our pediatrician says, at this point, it's only a laundry problem. And I can handle that!
Ugh. Nothing is sweeter than a sweet baby laying on your chest. That picture makes me fall even more in love with him. Thanks for being such an amazing fella, my little H Dawg!
What a blessing.
