Cozy Winter White Interiors

Well, hello, strangers! Sorry I've been MIA all week... if you follow me on Instagram (@tenjuneblog), you know that I suffered a minor burn injury earlier this week (dang those baby bottle steam cleaning bags!) so typing hasn't been the easiest chore for me the last few days. Couple that with a two-day Internet outage at our house, three house showings and an ice storm today and it's been a busy week! There are also some fun things going on behind the scenes, but I'll share more on that later : )

The weather here in Georgia is below freezing today, which of course means that everything is shut down. The falling sleet means that all north Georgia citizens get a "snow day" to hunker down in our homes and stay warm. Gotta love being a southerner. Speaking of, this cozy weather has got me in the mood for some cozy interiors, like these amazing winter white rooms. There's something about crisp white when it's paired with rustic textures and patterns. Don't you agree?!

Have a great weekend, folks!

PS. If you are at Alt Summit this week, I am so jealous! I have been following on Instagram and it looks like Amazefest, USA. I can't wait to read all of your recaps.

  4. I fell in love with every single room. This is a great post for renters who aren't allowed to paint. Cozying up what you have would be genius.

  5. Oh I love that first bedroom and well of course all of the rooms if I'm honest. They all are dreamy! Hope your burn is okay. Stay safe in that weather!! Here in south Texas it is in the 70's and finally sunny again...although I feel like I'm still ready for it to be cozy snuggle weather. Enjoy your weekend!

  8. We got a dusting so they shut down everything here yesterday too - ha! So funny after living in Pittsburgh for a few years where nothing ever shuts down even if you get a couple feet of snow. The kids always love a snow day though. I agree Alt Summit looks so fun - so wish I had bought a ticket!

  9. Hope you have enjoyed your weekend! Those are the best days. Lots of snuggle time with that sweet baby no doubt. Love these white rooms--been debating on purchasing a white couch. These inspiration photos make me really think I *need* one!

  10. We got plenty of white out here in Utah! We've been smacked with the best winter in memory!! (I like winter...I'm kind of weird that way.) A couple of weeks ago we got 2 feet of snow within 48 hours. (The schools had to declare a snow day...that's rare for Utah.) Negative temps followed that. We got up to 32 degrees just two days ago for the first time in weeks. Then last Thursday we had freezing rain. Never seen that before...totally bizarre, my driveway was a skating rink. The schools declared an ice day. This past weekend we had fog as thick as pea soup. And then last night we got another 6 inches of snow! So WHITE...yep. Today is the first time I've seen the sun and blue skies in I can't remember how long! Seriously! :) Hope your burn gets better soon! Thanks for the fun pictures...
