Hello, friends! I finally got my butt in gear and pulled together a source list for you for Little Lady June's nursery. As I mentioned in the nursery makeover room reveal post, I was (and am still!) a little weary about how this room came together. For months, we had the room planned for a baby boy. When we learned we were having a baby girl, I tried to plan a room that didn't deviate too much from the original plan but felt girly. All while staying under budget and working with the pieces we had already purchased. Oh, and in six weeks time.
Anyways, at times I felt like the nursery was coming together somewhat randomly because I was trying to keep up with all of those different factors, but I think that sort of eclectic, girly feel has worked out perfectly! Here is the lowdown on most of the items in the room.
The white crib is from Land of Nod. We originally purchased this crib for HDawg's nursery and you can read about our crib shopping adventures here. The pink chevron sheet is from Target and the beautiful floral pillow is from The Lacey Placey shop. The stuffed animals are either gifts or my old hand-me-downs (like my ballerina bear!). Oh and of course we won't keep the pillow or stuffed animals in the crib once she sleeps in the bed (she's currently in a bassinet in our bedroom). They're just to look pretty for now. I DIYed the pink toile wallpaper panels above the crib- tutorial to come soon!
This rocking nook area went through a couple versions, like this Eames chair plan. Eventually, we settled on this chair from Babies R Us. The hot pink velvet lumbar pillow, hot pink and gold tufted foot stool, the Jenny Lind-esque white side table and the pink/mint green/gold frames are all from Target (read more about each of them here). I added the gold vinyl polka dots, which I found for cheap on EBay, to the table base. The milk glass lamp is my Nan's vintage piece that I made over here. The quilt is from Kelly Hillis's Etsy shop. I made the gold glittered scallop banner. [The banner DIY is pretty simple, but let me know if you're interested in a tutorial.]
On the other side of the room is the closet door and entry into the room. The LOVE art is a DIY that I shared a tutorial for here. The other two pieces of art were special pieces from family and a dear friend. I made the tulle wreath on her closet door- a DIY post to come soon on that! A lot of you asked about the ballet point shoes- they were mine when I was a little girl : ) I was a dancer until I was about thirteen or fourteen when swimming sort of took over my life.
On the other wall rests Little Lady's changing table area. The dresser is from Wayfair, although I added the glass knobs from Home Depot. The wicker toy basket and changing pad cover are from Target. The flatweave rug is from Lulu & Georgia. The pink ombre pom pom garland is a DIY and you can find the tutorial right here. I also made the felt animal heads... there's a funny story about those, but I'll share that and a full tutorial on those guys here on the blog soon.
Alright, I think that's everything in the room sourced. Hopefully that answers all of your questions- let me know if not! I truly appreciate all of the love you guys have for this room. It's seriously such a delight to design a room for your own little one and it makes the process even sweeter when I've got a rocking team of followers to cheer me on!
Psst! Have you submitted your recent home, holiday, food or other do-it-yourself project for tomorrow's Tuesdays at Ten June?!
