Pottery Barn Outlet Trip

Willy Wonka's chocolate factory.

Santa's toy workshop at the North Pole.

The Pottery Barn outlet store.

I'm not sure about you, but gorgeous furniture and home decor being sold at a discount is totally up my alley. Especially when it's set up warehouse style with aisles and aisles and aisles for me to walk around, drooling. And, lucky me, I got to visit the north Georgia outlets over the weekend and entered the dream land some like to call the Pottery Barn store. Check out some of the goods I found along the PB aisles (pardon the not-so-hot iPhone pics)!

Those blue pillows asked if they could come live on my sofa.

Faux braided lampshade? Suhweet.

I love lamp. Like, a lot.

I can just see this covered in something bright and floral....

She realllly wanted to come home to my office!
But even at half price, she was $350ish, a bit over the budget.

My dining room table has a crush on this chair.

One of each, puhlease.

Too. Adorable. For. Words.

This could be fabulous in someone's bathroom reno.

Did I say I only love white bedding? I lied.

Preeeetty.

Oh hey, multi-colored frames. Jump into my shopping cart. Now!

$30. Enough said.

I also dropped by the Restoration Harware outlet. This store is more about browsing, as it's not exactly my style. Okay, who are we kidding? It is my style, I just can't afford it. Even at the discount price, re-dic. But I did wander around and marvel at all of the large statement pieces RH has to offer.

Guess what? You won't believe this, but I actually left both stores empty handed! It might have had something to do with the fact that I was in a hurry or maybe nothing just struck my fancy (I'm one of those buyers who sits on a purchase for a few days, then goes back). But it's true. Now I can't say the same thing for the Kate Spade, J Crew and Banana Republic stores.... ; )

Have you visited any home decor outlets lately?

  16. I worked at PB in college. You know the years where you don't have the home to furnish nor the money to do so...I did however take my parents up to TN with my employee ID and hooked them up at the outlet. Best. Daughter. Ever. :)

  19. I wish we had the outlet nearby. How much were the aluminum chairs? I love those!

I'm also digging all the blues. They remind me of Sarah's Summer House porch. Loving that.

And, can I just say that I bought a dead ringer for the medicine cabinet at Home Depot. Cheap, cheap.

  21. I recently found out there is a Pottery Barn Outlet in Reading, PA - about 1 1/2 hours from here. One of these days I have to head out there. I can understand how you ended up not buying anything - sometimes it can be so overwhelming when there is such much stuff!

  22. Love, love, love! The closest PB Outlet to me is almost two hours away and I've yet to make the trip out there. I would be so overwhelmed going there... but would try to come back with something! I am also the shopper who has to leave stuff and think about it.. even when it's something cheap at Goodwill! Ha ha! Thanks for sharing your finds. :)

  26. The closed PB outlet to me is a couple hours away. I would love to go back. I'm glad there is someone else out there who likes to "sit on something" before making a purchase! Don't get me wrong, I can impulse shop too! :)

  29. Sheer nirvana! I plan to make my pilgrimage to the one in OH sometime this summer. I have been wanting to for so long. It is about 30 min north of my uncle...which means I have a "storage unit" if I find anything grand. You have such will power for not buying anything. But is truly a sea of loveliness. :)

    Cheers~

  31. There were lots of things I would certainly be tempted by! What willpower to walk out of there empty-handed. But sometimes you just aren't feeling it. But like you that never happens to me at J. Crew, KS, or BR! :)
