Gift Wrapping Tips + Creative Gift Wrap Ideas

Hi friends! Believe it or not, we're at that magical countdown... only

4   d a y s   u n t i l   C h r i s t m a s ! !

I spent most of my night last night prepping for Old Saint Nick by wrapping up presents and putting them under our tree. Oh, and David and I randomly decided to dive into a Harry Potter marathon... neither of us had ever seen the movies! We got through all of The Sorcerer's Stone but fell asleep somewhere towards the end of The Chamber of Secrets. Needless to say, we're loving the series so far! The rest of the movies are on our DVR... can you guess what I'll be doing most of this holiday? Any other Harry Potter fans out there?!

Back to the gift wrapping. Here's a stack of jingle bell presents for my nephew.

If you're like me and you're still in that Scotch tape + wrapping paper + bow craziness, head on over to my sweet friend Amanda's blog, Serenity Now, where I'm sharing a few fun gift wrapping tips today!

Here's a sneak peek....

My wrapping tips guest post is part of a fun series Amanda is hosting called A Season of Serenity (Now) at Home. The series has been full of so many fabulous craft, organization, fashion, decorating and other tips for staying sane through the holidays. 6. Those gifts look marvelous! I always start my wrapping strong with beautiful bows and some flair, but by these last few days I'm just like get 'er done! J and I are deep in the Harry Potter series right now too, we have 3 left to go!! I love how they get darker and more sinister as the story progresses. Happy Holidays!

  8. WHAT?? You've never seen the Harry Potter movies?!?! ;) It probably helps that I have 4 kids...but I have read the entire series twice, OUT LOUD to my kids. (First my daughters, and then again to my son when he got older.) Which means, of course, that we've also seen all the movies...numerous times. And own them. My son is getting the final two for Christmas. After you're done watching the movies...go read the books. Because even though they've made these movies phenomenally well, the books are still better.
Phew....I'll get off my soap box now and back to the official subject at hand...your awesome wrapping! :) I wish the gifts under my tree looked even half as fancy as yours. But at this point in time I'm just relieved that they are all wrapped!! :)
