Spring has sprung and this girl is ready to embrace the warm weather. And that's going to start with a major overhaul of our back porch patio space.
Right now, all we've got is a tiny concrete slab that is screaming for some color, some proper space planning and a few new, more functional pieces. I'm excited to share that I've teamed up with the one and only Target to bring all of that to this space!
If you remember, I updated the back patio at our previous rental house with a bright Lulu and Georgia outdoor rug. As you can see from the design board, I plan on keeping that red and orange rug and injecting some fun turquoise into the mix.
I also want to add as much function as I can into the tiny space. I plan to create a dining area with my old patio table and some new stacking Threshold chairs, a lounging area with this amazing double chaise lounge (can't you just see me cuddled up and reading a book to the kids on this thing?!) and a fun transient social area with the fire pit.
I can't wait to see this space evolve. It will be such a perfect area for my family to enjoy meals and down time together... I can't wait! Of course, I'll share every detail and source along the way. This is going to be so great- I'm especially enamored with that gorgeous chaise lounger!! I can't wait to see how it all comes together :) I'm looking forward to getting outside more now that all the yucky pollen is gone(ish)- our patio furniture should be making an appearance in the next week or two on our back deck- wheeee!
ReplyDeleteIt's going to look great!!! I have two wicker chaise lounge chairs from Target last year, but I'd love to eventually get a double chaise like the one you show in your plans. Love it!
