Sigh.

Ta da! It's done! Our master bathroom renovation is complete!!! Isn't it gorrrrgeous?

Just kidding.

Sorry, that was kind of mean. (that's not my bathroom for those of you who are wondering!)
But I just can't stand to share one more ugly bathroom picture with you! And since, for about the last month, I've spent every Monday sharing the weekend updates on our master bathroom renovation (like our demolition, the layout, our new window, our new pocket door water closet) I didn't want to skip a beat.

What? You're not anxiously awaiting my renovation update posts every Monday? Hmmm.

This weekend, David and I (alone! we rock!) got alllll the drywall up (we used mold proof greenboard, so our walls are an awesome mint green color right now!) and the can lighting installed. I'm sad to report that this was done in a twelve hour binge yesterday, while many of you were doing normal fun things like
watching the Super Bowl with your friends and family. Ah, well, we're college football fans anyways.

Sorry, no pictures of me covered in drywall dust. Although I should have snapped some,
we looked pretty ridiculous!

Why the push to get 'er done? BILLY COMES TOMORROW! No, not our plumber again. There's a new Billy in town- our tile guy! He's a-coming tomorrow and I couldn't be more excited. Unfortunately, my sweet, sweet husband is in the middle of a huuuuuge project at work and has been pulling 13+ hour days for the last couple of weeks, including weekends, so our only time to finish the "before the tile guy gets here" stuff was yesterday! You've gotta do what you've gotta do, right?

So, I apologize for being MIA on emails and out on your blogs (I'm furiously typing this post as I scarf down my leftover Chinese insert a healthy lunch here). I'll hopefully be back in touch later this week and can't wait to catch up on everything I've missed!

Until then, here's hoping that Billy gets this bathroom looking more like our dream.

Here's my dream/mood board, in case you missed it.

Or, even if you've already seen it but you just want to sit and stare at it with a gigantic smile
on your face like I do, at least once a day. I won't judge.

And I'll keep on pretending our bathroom already looks like this
