Haven Blog Conference 2013 Recap or That Time I Booty Danced with Internet Strangers

Kids. Haven 2013 was crunk. Seriously, it was so much fun! The 2.5 day conference kicked off last Thursday evening right here in Atlanta. The conference was chock full of meeting some fabulous DIY home bloggers, attending DIY sessions, learning about some fun blog building stuff and booty dancing with the girls late into the night. That really did happen. Them bloggers can daaaaance. Honestly, I spent most of the weekend chatting or laughing with one blogger or another. It's totally weird and absolutely awesome to have such an amazing connection with virtual strangers. There aren't many people in my real life who share my quirky obsessions passions about DIY and blogging, so when you put me in a room with 250 other gals who feel the same way... well, that's heaven!

I was a terrible blogger and didn't take a ton of pictures, but here are a few I managed to snap of some of my favorite moments and gals.

It was a long weekend away from my boys, but I wouldn't have missed it for the world. I got to meet so many amazing women and walked away excited and inspired. It doesn't get much better than that!

If you didn't make it to Haven this year, make sure you sign up for the fun in 2014!
